'SPARTAN SPIRIT TRADITION'
SCHOLARSHIP
After our recent 20th reunion, our Spartan Spirit was totally renewed. We laughed and cried as we reminisced about our days at Immaculata, many of us just realizing then the tight bond woven between us -- purely because we attended IHS together. But more than just walking the same halls, we know there is something very special about Immaculata.
Because we wish to keep the tradition and the opportunity alive, the class of ’84 will award one $1000.00 scholarship to a member of the class of 2006 based on responses to the following questions:
1. What does Spartan Spirit mean to you?
2. How has Spartan Spirit shaped you?
3. What life lessons or mind-set will you take with you from Immaculata?
Please double-space-type your answers. Hint: we’re looking for responses that come from your heart, or your gut, or your soul -- not necessarily the fanciest presentation.
Deadline: Tuesday, May 24th 2005. Please submit to Sr. Mary Birster. The Committee will announce the recipient June 1st, 2005.
